Australia’s first smart formula-feeding thermos, Missta needed a digital home that reflected the premium quality of its products. Its DIY branding and website had supported the business since launch, but as the brand grew, there was room to improve conversion and create a more cohesive customer experience.
I began with an in-depth site audit and detailed questionnaire to understand what wasn’t working and where the founders wanted to take the business. From there, I refreshed the brand, refined its messaging and redesigned its Shopify website.
WITHIN THREE WEEKS OF SETTING MISSTA’S NEW SITE LIVE, THEIR CONVERSION RATE INCREASED & HAS REMAINED STEADY.
The iconic MISSTA logo and signature touch of black stayed, balanced with a softer oat beige inspired by its bestselling product. An expanded logo suite, defined typography and comprehensive guidelines brought consistency to the brand, with a clear visual hierarchy to give everything from packaging to social posts the same editorial, premium feel.
For the copywriting, I developed brand messaging, writing principles and practical do’s and don’ts, alongside the tagline, “The easiest way to formula feed.” Across the website, I paired this voice with SEO and conversion-focused copy to help customers understand the product and shop with confidence.
The custom-coded Shopify website included Klaviyo integration and space for sister brand Bluu, giving Missta room to grow. With formula feeding at the heart of the business, every touchpoint needed to feel supportive, shame-free and encouraging. A premium experience with warmth and reassurance built in.
